The Situation (hypothetically, of course)
Your school has decided to ban all graphic novels. They will no longer be taught in any classes and will not be available in the school library or the public library. Write a letter to the Board of Education asking them to keep graphic novels in classes and the libraries, to keep graphic novels only in the libraries, or write your letter in support of this decision. You must make reference to the novel Persepolis as an example in your letter and employ at least two elements of persuasion (pathos, logos, ethos, appeal to authority, creating a sense of urgency) in your letter. Highlight your use of the element and label what element was used. Your letter must be typed in letter format and be one page in length (no more, no less).
Final drafts are due at the end of the period on Friday.
