How to make a citation:
Open your “Persepolis Research” list in noodletools.
Choose the type of document you are citing from the dropdown menu (i.e. journal, reference source, etc.). See below for help with what type of document you are citing. Then click “Create Citation”
On the next page, choose “Print” or “Online” and click “Next.”
On the next page, choose “Subscription Database” or “Unique URL” and click “Next.” Remember: any database linked to the library is a Subscription Database. Follow the steps for either choice.
On the last page, complete the following fields and then click “Generate Citation”:
Author(s) First name
Middle name
Last name (or organization)
Don’t forget to click “Add.”
Article title
Name of journal
Volume number (if available)
Issue number (if available)
Date of publication
Name of Web site (do not change this)
Sponsoring organization (do not change this)
Web address (URL) (do not change this)
Date you viewed it (do not change this)
Annotation
When you make the citation, you must include a brief annotation (in this case, a 3-4 sentence summary of the document).
Making Note Cards: If you find the information you would like to use for this project, make a note card. A note card is how you can keep track of and organize your research.
How to make a note card for this assignment:
Go to your list of citations. Click where it says Note card “new.”

Your citations have proper capitalization and correct spelling.
